A heated pool and a jacuzzi are in the middle of the park. In the shade of pergolas or in the sunshine, sunseekers and swimmers alike can enjoy splendid panoramic views of the Brando valley.
A second pool, amongst the orange trees is even more relaxing and tranquil.
The Patio is an inner courtyard shaded by the main house. In its centre, a magnificent centuries-old olive tree surrounded by gigantic palm treesand an antique fountain that makes one think of Tuscany.
The gardens are composed of exotic varieties of trees brought back by the original owners of the house in the XIXth century. Palm trees, cedars, lime trees of the Caribbean, Lebanon and South America coexist in this shaded and restful park. Terraces hidden in front of rooms and overlooking balconies complete the landscape of our gardens.
The lounge of the Demeure is a small library and lounge with a vaulted ceiling which has the particularity of proposing works by the original owners of the Demeure.
A warm and cosy place, the lounge is an ideal spot to enjoy a cup of tea or coffee or to share a bottle of wine during the cooler nights.

FROM CASA CALISTI TO HOTEL CASTEL BRANDO 4*
The Castel Brando is one of the famous and typical « American's Houses » of the Cap Corse. The mansion was built in 1853 by a doctor of the Napoleonic army, and was later taken over and improved by a local upon his return from Saint-Domingue, where he had spent several decades.
Like many people from the Cap Corse at the time, he went to the Americas and then returned to his native Corsica having made his fortune. He then set about purchasing a luxurious mansion where he proceeded to plant exotic gardens. The vaulted ceilings and lime-washed walls contrast beautifully with the terracotta floors, the furnishings and original decorative Corsican objects.
In 1990, Jöelle and Jean Paul Pieri, acquired this family house which has fallen in ruins. Their passion drove them to restore it to life and aroused the vocation to make the Castel Brando a particular address, a unique place which reflects the corsican hospitality.
